Hello! Thank you for visiting my profile.
My name is Haruna. I was born and raised in Japan, and I am a native Japanese speaker who speaks standard Japanese. I lived abroad in Seattle for six months learning English. My hobbies include traveling, cooking, taking photos, and visiting cafes. I also love meeting new people and learning about different languages and cultures.

I completed Japanese Language Teacher Training Course at university, and received a qualification to teach professionally. I have over 3,500 hours of experience teaching Japanese to students ranging from beginner to advanced levels over the past four years. Additionally, while I was in university, I volunteered in the United States to support students learning Japanese. I am also studying multiple languages myself, so I fully understand the challenges of learning more than one language. With my experience in studying multiple languages and my teaching background, I am committed to providing lessons that will meet your expectations.My lessons & teaching style

Haruna-sensei was very kind and I appreciated her thorough questions in order to get to know me and my learning goals. Though it was difficult to express myself at times, she listened patiently and asked clarifying questions to make sure she understood me. Haruna-sensei adjusted quickly to my level, and I felt that she was very willing to accommodate my requests for the lesson style. She provided useful information in the chat as well. I would recommend her to anyone wanting to study Japanese!

This teacher is awesome,even though sometimes it is hard she pushes you to speak japanese and to try you best.She has various textbooks,in my case we use the GENKI textbook.She will explain as many times as you need.Her teching style is really interactive and fun,I really find her clases engaging.In her classes I have learned:counters,grammar,time and many other things!The classes are really useful and you learn a lot
